With Urban New Deal, EcoArt Project pinpointed another thematic core of the concept of "sustainable" living: urban living. The works in the exhibition, curated by Davide Sarchioni, explored living urban and domestic spaces and provoked questions about how we should use them and, perhaps, improve them. The inspiration for Urban New Deal drew on the power of art and culture to spur the redevelopment of city centers with sustainable architecture and design as a means of allowing urban spaces to become centers of relation and exchange.
